Love on a Leash®

Established on July 24, 2012, by Alane Pritchard and Sue Cochran, the Lake Havasu chapter serves the communities of Lake Havasu, Parker, Bullhead City, and Fort Mohave. Now led by Anne Mitchell, the chapter’s 23 dedicated volunteer teams continue to bring comfort, joy, and companionship to people throughout western Arizona. Through their heartfelt visits, the chapter proudly shares the mission of Love on a Leash® and the healing power of the human-animal bond.

Meet Our Chapter Co-Leaders

Anne Mitchell has been a dedicated Love on a Leash® volunteer since 2022 and leads the Lake Havasu chapter with warmth and enthusiasm. She shares the joy of pet therapy with her Pit Bull mix, Dean, whose gentle and loving nature brings smiles and comfort to everyone they meet. Anne’s compassion and commitment to the mission of Love on a Leash® help strengthen her chapter’s presence and impact across the Lake Havasu community and beyond.
