Established on March 20, 2018, by Kathy Hoffman and Marianne Jackson, the Lake County chapter continues to share the comfort and joy of pet therapy throughout Lake County, Illinois. Now led by Christie Wolf, the chapter’s ten dedicated volunteer teams bring smiles, companionship, and connection to people of all ages, spreading the love of their therapy pets across the community.

Christie Wolf leads the Lake County chapter with warmth and dedication, sharing the joy of pet therapy with her Bernedoodle, Dexter. Together, they bring smiles and comfort to those they visit, brightening lives across the community. Christie’s compassion and commitment to the mission of Love on a Leash® inspires her fellow volunteers and strengthens the chapter’s positive impact in Lake County.
