Love on a Leash®

The Central Coast chapter was established in November 2016. The chapter coordinates visits to senior living facilities, schools, a children’s library, a day work program for the disabled, a day program for the disabled and seniors, and Vandenberg Space Force Base. Visits are in Santa Maria, Lompoc, Nipomo, Arroyo Grande, and Solvang.

Meet Our Chapter Leader

Toni Perez formed the Central Coast chapter and has served as chapter leader since its inception. She is a retired special education teacher and lives in Santa Maria with her son and their 4 dogs and several foster dogs. Toni is currently certified with 3 dogs, a Dalmatian and two Dalmatian mixes. When not volunteering with Love On A Leash®, Toni takes care of foster dogs for Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California. Her favorite part about volunteering with Love On A Leash® is the joy the dogs bring to other people.
