Love on a Leash®

Founded in 2005 by Gloria Sams, the Somerset Chapter serves Pulaski County and the surrounding area. Over the years, the chapter has continued to grow and make a lasting impact through the comfort and joy of pet therapy. The dedicated volunteers of the Somerset Chapter bring smiles, companionship, and healing to people of all ages, sharing the unconditional love of their therapy pets throughout the community.

John Sampson has been a devoted Love on a Leash® volunteer since 2016, sharing the comfort and joy of pet therapy with his German Shepherd, Ritter. Together, they have brought smiles and companionship to countless people in the Somerset community. John’s dedication and caring nature reflect the true spirit of Love on a Leash®, making a lasting impact on everyone they meet.

Chapter Leader

Charlotte Keeney has been a dedicated Love on a Leash® volunteer since 2009 and co-leads the Somerset Chapter with warmth and compassion. She shares the joy of pet therapy with her Whippet mix, Pea Oui, bringing smiles and comfort to everyone they visit. Charlotte’s experience and devotion to the mission of Love on a Leash® continue to inspire her fellow volunteers and strengthen the chapter’s positive impact in the community.
