Love on a Leash®

Founded on January 25, 2017, by Lynn Roberts, the Statesboro Chapter serves Statesboro and the surrounding areas of Georgia. Now led by Patti Barber, the chapter’s five dedicated volunteers bring joy, comfort, and companionship to the community through meaningful pet therapy visits, sharing the healing power of the human–animal bond with those they meet.

Meet Our Chapter Leader

Patti Barber has been a devoted Love on a Leash® volunteer since 2018 and leads the Statesboro Chapter with warmth and enthusiasm. She shares the joy of pet therapy with her All American dog, Sadie Mae, whose gentle nature brings comfort and smiles to everyone they visit. Patti’s dedication and compassion help strengthen the chapter’s mission of spreading love and connection throughout the community.
