Established in 2004 by Bridget Fusilier, the Hemet chapter continues to share the comfort and companionship of pet therapy throughout Hemet and the surrounding area. Now led by Cindy Pierson, the chapter’s 8 dedicated volunteer teams bring smiles and connection to people of all ages, making a lasting difference in their community through the love of their therapy pets.

Meet Our Chapter Leader

Cindy Pierson has been a devoted Love on a Leash® volunteer since 2005 and leads the Hemet chapter with compassion and dedication. Over the years, she has shared the comfort and joy of pet therapy through 8 certified therapy dogs, each bringing their own special warmth to the people they visited. Cindy’s long-standing commitment and love for the mission of Love on a Leash® continues to inspire others and strengthen the impact of her chapter in the community.
